| Karan hailed for donation to JYB Truts | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 22 Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust has expressed their thanks to Dr. Karan Singh, the sole trustee of Dharam Arth Trust for donating Rs. 66,000 to the Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust, to facilitate the socio-religious activities being undertaken by the trust at Haridwar, where a spacious yatri bhawan having 150 deluxe rooms, with all the modern amenities, has been constructed for the lodging of pilgrims, particularly from Jammu region, who pay visit to the holy town to have holy dip in the sacred Ganga river as well as for performing last rites of their deceased relatives and for other religious discourses. Besides decent accommodation free four times meals are served to the pilgrims in the Jammu Yatri Bhawan. In recognition of the valuable services rendered by the Yatri Bhawan Trust to the pilgrims, mainly from J&K, to Haridwar, Dharam Arth Trust has been making a donation of Rs 11,000 per month to the Jammu Yatri Bhawan. A cheque for Rs 66,000 was presented by Dr. Karan Singh, the sole trustee of Dharam Arth Trust to Sh. Pawan Shastri, the President Board of Trustees of Jammu Yatri Bhawan, as last six months donation. |
