| PoK Refugees hold dharna to protest ’47 Pak attack | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 22 Thousands of Muzaffarabad Refugees today held a Dharana to protest attack by Pak Tribal on Jammu and Kashmir which forced them to flee their homes and hearths sixty year back in 1947. Thousand of POK Refugees assembled at busy Vikram Chowk wearing black badges to mark the day of attack as black day. They were shouting anti government slogans, while accusing the state and centre governments of being apathetic towards their poor plight. Shouting 'down-down government', they demanded restoration of constitutional and political guarantees and reservation for the community in Government jobs and professional colleges. Later the SoS international a POK Refugees organization Chairman Rajive Chuni addressed the gathering and highlighted the grievances of PoK refugees. |
