Jammu and Kashmir Media Art association has demanded early release of pending commissioned programmes for DD Kashir, while hailing new guidelines issued by Prasar Bharti envisaging fresh policy for engaging private production companies.
As per a press release issued here today, the association held a meeting here today wherein the members raised various issues concerning o private producers.
The participating members demanded speedy disposal of of pending proposals in light of the new guidelines, while urging upon the authorities to allot the commissioned programmes on merit basis.
It was decided in the meeting to seek an appointment from Union Minister ofr Information and Broadcasting for giving considering the grievances of migrant producers of Valley.
Some new members were also brought in fold of the association and nominated as office bearers of the association. |
