Real Jammu suffered a humiliated defeat against Christian Star as they were thrashed by 10-0 in a ruthless fashion. Christian Star made their intentions very clear right from the start of the proceedings as they took the lead in the 17th minute when Kitty Mattoo scored the first goal with a beauty.
But the real drama came in the 19th minute when one of the striker of Real Jammu scored self goal to give Christian Star the decisive lead with in 20 minutes of the game. At half time, Christian Star was leading by 2-0. The 2nd half was a real entertainer as Christian Star consolidated further to launch concerted strikes into the Real Jammu goal post.
Rajinder Singh completed a magnificent hatrick by scoring 4 goals to stamp his class. He really was at his brilliant best. He scored goals in the 41st, 49th, 58th and 66th minute. Kitty Matto, Arun and Sheeta also scored goals in the 46th, 53rd and 63rd minute. The officials in the match were Suresh Dimple, Satpal, Samsun and Ramesh.
