| IAF Jammu celebrates Durga Puja | | | Early Times Reporter

With religious fervour and gaiety Indian Air Force (IAF) for 28th consecutive year celebrated Durga Puja at Satwari Air Force Station, which culminated today with Sindoor Puja and immersion of Goddess Durga.
Sources said that to mark the occasion a cultural programme by Air warriors and their families was presented.
Group Captain Vishwanath Prakash, who was the chief guest on the occasion, congratulated the artists for their excellent performance.
Various regional dances and songs presented by the Air warriors and their families depicted the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the country reflecting unity in diversity.
The celebrations today culminated with Sindoor Utsav and immersion of Goddess Durga.
Anupama Prakash--wife of the Group Captain Vishwanath Prakash also took part in the celebrations. |
