| ASKPC rejects Hizb's offer | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER Jammu | AugUST 20
All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference has rejected the reported conditional return offer by Hizbul Mujahideen outfit to migrant Pandits, asserting that the people of the community are aboriginees of Kashmir. "Kashmiri Pandits are part and parcel of Kashmir," a resolution passed at a special meeting of the Political Advisory Committee of ASKPC said here last evening.
Rejecting outrightly the offer of Hizbul to migrant Pandits for return to the Kashmir valley on their conditions, the ASKPC members said "Kashmir is ours and it is for Hizbul to prove that they believe in Indian constitution." Expressing concern over alleged encroachment on lands of some religious places by the government in the valley, the meeting, held under the Chairmanship of senior vice-president R K Raina, demanded their immediate restoration.
