The opening day of the inter-college women’s kabaddi tournament ended with walkover awarded in favour of Government College for Women (GCW) Parade after Degree College Udhampur failed to turn up the venue of University grounds, here today.
Whereas in another scheduled match for today, both Degree College Kathua and Degree College Akhnoor did not report thereby felicitating the direct entry of GCW Gandhi Nagar into the final. The final is scheduled for October 24.
In tomorrow’s fixture, the combined side of Post Graduate Departments of University of Jammu shall take on Government College for Women in the semi-finals. |
