G.M. Saroori, chairman, J&K state social welfare board and MLA Inderwal assembly constituency, today met the hon’ble Chief Minister and discussed the matter with regard to hardships being faced by the people due to drought and demanded provision of free ration and fodder to the drought public of Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban districts. The Chief Minister paid patient hearing to this genuine demand and assured that the divisional commissioner, Jammu would be asked to asses the loss suffered on this account so that suitable relief could be provided to affected people. G.M. Sarrori, also thanked the Chief Minister for his assurance that Chatroo-Sythen road, which connects the Kashmir Valley, would be kept open during winter season as due to blockage of national highway the people have to face lost of hardship. |
