Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 22 Underdog Abhishek Goswami in a first major upset of the ongoing 17th state billiards and snooker championship today defeated the defending senior snooker champion Umar Farooq 3-2 to advance into the third round of the junior snooker championship at Billiards Hall, here. Although it was a tough task to beat Umar but the tough man in Abhishek maintained his cool and won the deciding fifth frame potting the black and won the match 3-2. The score: 51-19, 4-59, 44-35, 33-44, 48-46. In other matches of the day, Abhishek Pathania, Y Singh, Dilawar, Mayur, Mudassar and Nikhil Kapahi made it into the next round winning the respective games.
