| Graduate Engineers demand implementation of cabinet decision | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

Lauding the sincerity of purpose and intent of the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad in bringing revolutionary changes in the wok culture in the State Government departments, the State Joint Action Committee of Graduate Engineering Associations have strongly pleaded for implementation of the cabinet decision regarding streamlining the working of the engineering departments.
In a hand out the Association regretted that despite the cabinet approval some two month back, the new rules governing the promotions of the engineers have not been implemented .It has urged the government to implement the cabinet decision in its totality and issue the requisite SRO at the earlier to honour the commitment of the Chief Minister.
The Committee has threatened to resort to direct action if its demand was not fulfilled at the earliest.
