Four Hizbul militants nabbed in Punjab

Gurdaspur | August 20
Four Hizbul Mujahideen militants were arrested on Sunday with large quantity of arms and ammunition seized from them.
Senior Superintendent of Police Paramjit Singh Umranangal said here today that three militants were identified as Jahagir, Jahir and Israr Ahmed, all residents of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir.
The SSP said police recovered two AK 47 rifles, a revolver and a pistol, four-and-a half kg of explosives, four magazines of AK 47 rifle, 106 cartridges, five detonators and Rs 1.05 lakh in fake currency from their possession.
Umranangal said apart from this police also recovered two trucks, a car and a motorcycle from them.

It is suspected that all the militants were affiliated to Hizbul Mujahidin.
