Tourism Deptt to support BDA in infrastructural development

doda | August 20 : Claiming that Bhaderwah Mela was being used as an opportunity to highlight the tourist potential of the area, Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Tourism development department, Nayeem Akther has said that the department will provide all kind of support including infrastructural backup which would benefit entire region.In an informal chat with the reporters here today, Nayeem said that the Bhaderwah Mela would be a continuous annual feature with special attractions including the Art, Craft and culture of the area. He said that forty tour operators across the country are participating in the Mela and are exploring every possibility to attract tourists from other parts of the country.
Tourism department would extend all possible support to Bhaderwah development authority for infrastructural development like construction of huts tourist reception center in the area.
It is pertinent to mention here that Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad yesterday inaugurated the Kalash Yatra Mela which is being organized by Newly formed Bhaderwah Development Authority.
