| Minister says Govt plans to recruit PETs | | | Early Times Reporter

Government is contemplating to impart physical education at school level and to cover each and every education institution, a plan is under consideration to recruit Physical Education Teachers (PETs) and sports teachers.
This was stated by the Minister of State for Sports, Babu Singh while addressing the players during the valedictory function of all India inter-University baseball championship at the campus of University of Kashmir. The tournament played under the auspices of Association of Indian Universities and assisted by Baseball Federation of India.
He said, “the government has already contemplated a policy which includes large scale recruitment of Physical Education Teachers (PETs) and lectures in sports at schools and higher education level.”
