| Trikuta House wins handball tourney | | | Early Times Reporter

Trikuta House lifted the inter-mural handball trophy of the Department of Physical Education (BPEd, MPEd) beating Jhelum House 11-9 in the final which was decided in the extra time on the campus here today.
Earlier, in the match time the final ended in a 9-9 draw. Neeraj Sharma was tops scorer from the winners Trikuta House while Ashwani Kotwal contributed 4goals.
In the final and prize distribution function of the three day event, Director Physical Education, Prof Lokesh Verma was chief guest who distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams. In his address to the participant, Prof Verma appreciated the incharge BPEd and MPEd, Dr Brij Biloria for the initiative and congratulated the Trikuta House for their victory.
Prominent among those present were Dr Sonam Angchuk, Assistant Director Physical Education, Romesh Sharma, Volleyball coach and Ramesh Magotra, Table Tennis coach of the Department. |
