Manjit conducts open darbar

Minister of State for CAPD and School Education Manjit Singh today conducted an open darbar at Ward No. 12 in Vijaypur to mitigate the genuine problems of the general masses.
Sarpanchs, Panchs, officers of RDD, PDD, Irrigation and Flood Control, education, PHE and large number of people were also present.
A large number of deputations and individuals of Bandral, Tanda Burj, Bari Brahamna, Vijaypur, Jakh, Badrori and its adjoining areas met the Minister and projected their problems mostly related to drinking water, electricity, posting of adequate teaching staff in schools, repair and renovation of link roads, drains and lanes.
Interacting with the people, the Minister said that the coalition government is fully aware with the problems of all sections of the society. He said that the present government has fulfilled its commitments to a great extent by creating eight districts, sub-divisions, tehsils, provided ownership rights of state land to tillers free of cost under Roshni Act, enhanced honorarium of Nambardars and Chowkidars, accelerated the development activities like upgradation and opening of new road projects, irrigation canals, augmentation of power supply, healthcare and education facilities.
He asked the officers to visit their respective areas frequently and listen to the problems of the people particularly in hilly and backward areas and try their level best to solve the problems of the people honestly. He also advised the people to cooperate the government agencies in smooth execution of works taking place in their areas.
