A student was today stabbed in the front of public at Nagri Bus Stand in Kathua and was admitted in a hospital for treatment. According to reports today some youths attacked one Manoj Kumari wife of Mohan Lal resident of Ward No 2, Kathua with sharp edged weapon in which she got serious injuries. The local people who spotted the incident informed the police which took her to hospital for treatment.
Police has registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter. Later, police also arrested three youths identified as Akush Sharma alias Anku, Charanjeet Singh alias Channi and Nitesh Sharma and recovered some weapons and an air-gun from their possession. Reason behind the attack was yet to be ascertained. |
