| DYSS to organize women sports, rural sports in Nov | | | Early Times Reporter

The Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) is holding block level women sports and rural sports in different games from the first week of November.
The dates and the venues are still under consideration but all the district officers of the Department have been asked by the Directorate to make it feasible at their end to hold the games by the next month.
Soon after the block level competitions, the districts shall be holding the inter-block games so as to pave way for the inter-district tournament.
Similarly, Jammu district has finalized the venues where the competitions are going to be conducted in different events. “We have decided to conduct these events at eight different blocks from the first week of November,” said district officer Jammu, Jai Raj.
The department has decided to hold rural sports in different discipline at Samba, Akhnoor, Jammu and R S Pura whereas the women sports shall take place Nagrota, Vijaypur, Bishnah and Akhnoor, added the district officer.
These competitions are being organized in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council. |
