| Khajuria tours Jib | | | Early Times Reporter Udhampur | Oct 29 Former minister and JKPCC vice president Yash Pal Khajuria lashed out at panthers party MLA Balwant Singh Mangotia for deliberately ignoring and sabotaging the developmental programmes going in the areas. Addressing series of meeting in village: Kalta, Sanari and Sallan Bain in Jib area, Khajuria said that pick and choose policy adopted by the present MLA has increased the suffering of the people of the rural areas. He said that MLA has not discharged his responsibilities fairly and his discriminatory attitude hampered the development in villages. He also apprise about the achievements achieved by the congress led coalition government headed by Ghulam Nabi Azad, he said that Roshni Act, introducing the work culture, double shift work, mitigating the century old problems of grass root level employees like Chowkidars and Numberdar, constituting new districts and tehsils and launching mass development programmes in every corner of the state are the remarkable achievements of Chief Minister. He also urged the PHE department to provide the water supply lines in Pargal Mohalla, Tarkhana Mohalla of Panchyat Barola and in Mohalla Kalta, where drinking water is yet a major problem for the people. He also demanded the upgradation of electric transformers. He also demanded the construction of road from Salaan Bain to villager Numble on top priority. The prominent leaders who addressed the meeting were Krishan Chander Bhagat, Ashok Bakshi, Surinder Advocate, Gunjar Singh, Mohan Bodh Raj, Hakam Din, Master Des Raj, Shounku Ram, Godwari Devi, Guddi Begam, Narinder Kumar, and Dwarko Devi. |
