| CDM honour’s Lt. Gen. Saproo | | | Early Times Reporter

Centre for Diaster Management (CDM) University of Jammu organized a function in the honour of Lt. Gen. TK Saproo GOC 16 corps who inaugurated a computer lab to the centre gifted by the Army.
The function was presided over by Prof. B P S Sehgal Dean Academic Affairs and officiating Vice Chancellor. Registrar of the University Prof. G S Sambyal and Dr. Kamal Saini DIG Home Guards Civil Defence and Auxillary Police were the guests of honour.
Prof. Ashok Aima Convener Centre for Diaster Management welcomed all the guests and underlined the need of the importance of Diaster management.
Prof. G M Bhatt member CDM made a detailed presentation of the activities of the Centre from its establishment
Dr. Kamal Saini DIG Home guards/ civil defence assured full cooperation to CDM JU on behalf of state police.
Lt. Gen T K Saproo GOC 16 corps appreciated the efforts of centre for disaster management JU for creating awareness and assured the cooperation on behalf of Army in his regard.
Prof. G S Sambyal Registrar of Jammu University also addressed the gathering and appreciated the CDM and the Army.
The programme was conducted by Gohar Hafeez Fani Field Liaison Officer Centre for Diaster Management and Dr. D L Choudhary presented vote of thanks. |
