A warm sendoff was given to Sub Inspector Ami Chand on his superannuation, after rendering more than thirty-eight years of active police service, by the officers and jawans of Vigilance Organization Jammu.
According to a press release from the VO, Ami Chand joined police department as constable in 1969 and rose to the rank of Sub- Inspector by virtue of hard work, loyalty, sincerity and high integrity. For his dedication and devotion to duties, he received as many as eighty commendation certificates with cash reward from his senior officers. In recognition of his outstanding performance in various capacities he was awarded DGP’s commendation medal in the year 2000, the release added. |
