Setting a big target of 372 runs in the first innings, J&K reduced Himachal to 102 runs for seven at the end of day-two play.
When the day’s play was called off, Varun Sharma was playing confidently at 44. Zahoor Sofi displayed excellent spell of fast bowling taking five wickets for J&K while Mahraj bagged two.
Earlier, it was due to the magnificent innings of 168 runs from Manish Dogra that hosts managed a big total. Resuming their innings from overnight score of 224 for four, J&K added 148 more runs to set a competitive target of 372 in 137.5 over for the visitors.
