| Director colleges hold meet with principals | | | Early Times Reporter

A review meeting of Principals of degree colleges of the district was held at Govt College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, under chairmanship of Director colleges Dr ND Wani to assess the academic and physical infrastructure facilities in the colleges.
In the meeting, it was observed that all the new subjects demanded by the principals of new degree colleges have been introduced in the current session.
Meeting was told that the construction work of three new degree colleges viz. Govt Degree College R.S.Pura, Govt. Degree College Hiranagar and Govt. Degree College Akhnoor were near completion and in the rest of the colleges construction work is going on war footing.
Wani on the occasion assured all the principals that fresh appointment of lecturers in different subjects will be made shortly. However, in some degree colleges appointments have already been made. |
