| "DDC inaugurates SBI "RUDSETI" | | | Early Times Reporter

An Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) under "RUDSETI" set up by SBI was inaugurated by District Development Commissioner, Sanjeev Verma. About 65 unemployed youth participated in this 2 days orientation – cum – training Programme.
During his welcome address, Sh. Amrit Lal, AGM (SBI) informed that the objective behind establishing Rural Development & Self Employment Training Institute is to orient, train and assist the unemployed to take up Self Employment Ventures.
Speaking on the occasion Sh. S. P. Singh, DGM SBI (J & K Module) apprised that SBI is the first bank to have set up RUDSETI’s in all of its lead districts in J & K State. He talked about various initiatives being pursued by SBI for ameliorating poverty and generating gainful employment in the state.
DDC Reasi, Sh. Sanjeev Verma appreciated SBI for this noble initiative and for reaffirming their commitment towards the economic development of the state. He impressed upon the SBI Management to conduct awareness/training programmes on regular basis in the remote and backward areas and assured SBI of full support and cooperation from district administration for realizing the objective.
