Students of Government Higher Secondary School Jakyas celebrated annual day with great enthusiasm. The function was presided over by MLC and Senior Congress leader Mohammad Sharief Niaz.
The cultural items presented by the school children were appreciated by the gathering present on the occasion. Niaz, while distributing the prizes among the students stressed upon the children to take studies seriously and clear competition examinations held from time to time.
On the conclusion of function local people met Niaz and urged upon him posting of adequate teaching staff in the schools, beside computer lab, furniture, construction of additional accommodation and boundary wall for the school. They also urged him for construction of stadium for the benefit of local youths. Niaz assured them that he will take up the matter with the Chief Minister as well with the concerned department. |
