Acute shortage of fertilizer, Sarma told

PCC spokesperson Ravinder Sharma has urged the Govt to arrange the supply of fertilizers and seed to the farmers of Sunderbani and Nowshera areas of district Rajouri immediately.
At a meeting of block Congress committee workers at Sunderbani the farmers of the area apprised Sharma about the non-availability of fertilizers and seed which is causing great hardships. The farmers complained that if timely supplies of fertilizers not arranged they will suffer huge loss.
The people also complained about the unreasonable hike in the grinding charges of wheat and maze by the chakki owners (small floor mill) and said that already the farmers are hard pressed. A delegation of Atta Chakki Owners Association of the tehsil Sunderbani led by president of the Association Ram lal also met the Spokesperson and explained their problems and justification for revision of grinding charges.
Sharma gave assurance that all the maters will be brought into the notice of authorities for their immediate redressal.
