| Good governance mere slogan, work culture nowhere seen: JKNPP | | | Early Times Reporter Bhaderwah | Nov 1 The Coalition govt led by Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has failed on all fronts and the corruption in Govt departments has increased manifold said JKNPP general secretary, Ch. Mohd. Iqbal at a public meeting held at village Ghati, about 22kms away from here today. Iqbal strongly criticized the Azad government and said the slogan of good governance and work culture are nowhere seen and the unemployment in the state is rising day by day while the prices of essential commodities are also on rise and there is no check. He said there are reports that present CM is not happy with state and have asked central leadership for a change, as he does not want to be projected as next Chief Minister of the state. He urged upon the party workers, especially the youth, to remain united and take programme and policies of JKNPP to the doorsteps of people, as people of state are fed up with the working of the present government. He further said no compensation has been paid to the farmers of village Sungli, whose land has been acquired for Bhaderwah university campus. On the occasion he stressed upon the party workers be alert as JKNPP has decided to fight next state elections due in September 2008. Praising the party chief Prof. Bhim Singh, Iqbal said for states all over development and progress he is working hard and added have full faith on his leadership. |
