Freedom fighters express dismay over present India

J&K Freedom Fighter's Association organized in a function held at Govt. Polytechnic College Bikram Chowk to aware the Youth, students & the General Masses about the sacrifices & the deeds of the freedom fighters, to get the country free from the clutches of the British, since the 1st spark of revolt of 1857, started by Martyr Mangal Pandey against the British Rule.
Chairman of J&K Freedom Fighter's Association, Bhushan Lal Gupta speaking on the occasion said that, the post -Independence leadership could not reach to the core of the miseries of the masses, a crop of such a leade-ship erected which started eating the vitals of the country. He further said that the Martyrs never dreamt of such India with hungry people, dying farmers, suiciding debtors, fractured law & order structure, denial of justice to the poor and the help-less; The time has come, that the youth have to get awakened , he said and added that a fresh & dedicated leader-ship have to be produced, as said by former President of India A.P. J.Kalam many a time his tenure , so that the dreams of the Martyrs & the freedom fighters may be foil filled.
The President of the Association Ved Gandotra and the Gen Sec. SkMunshi Ram Bangotra, exhorted the Youth & the women folk to follow the path of humanity & sacrifices shown by the freedom fighters, so that our country may emerge as the prosperous & the strongest country in the world. He added that S. Bhagat Singh, Chander Shekbar Azad, Ali Bandus, Netaji Subash Chander Bose, comerade Dhanwantri & many other unknown freedom fighter's could had led an easy life but they chose to fight the aggressors, so that we the people could respire in the open & free atmosphere in free India.
Chief-Guest, the principal of the college K.R.Shanna also emphasized the need to follow the foot-steps of the Martyr's and said that every student, youth and the common citizen should also perform his duties honestly and should also know his rights. He further said that when students will attend and follow their classes honestly, when teachers would under-stand that they have to build a generation of honest citizens and when every citizen would perform his duty honestly; we are sure that we would full-fill the dreams of the Freedom Fighters and the Martyrs.
