| Charas worth one lakh recovered | | | Early Times Reporter

Continuing its tirade against the menace of narcotic smuggling, Sumbal Police have seized about 1 kilogram of Charas worth about Rs one lakh and has arrested two persons in this regard.
Sub Divisional Police Officer Sumbal, Dy SP Dr. Harmeet Singh told News Agency of Kashmir that police received a specific information regarding grinding of Charas by some drug smugglers at Naninara Sumbal
He said that on this information a raid was conducted by Sumbal police at Naidkhal during which about 01 Kilogram of Charas was seized.
Two persons Farooq Ahmad Bhat son of Gani Bhat , of Naidkhal and Gh. Mohd Hurra , son of Habib Hurra , of Naidkhal have been arrested told Singh to NAK.
A Case FIR No: 281/2007, under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sumbal in this regard. |
