Two policemen were injured as militants exploded a hand grenade at a local bus stand in Baramulla district this afternoon, police said.
The grenade was lobbed by militants on a police party at the crowded bus stand around 3.30 PM injuring a constable and a Special Police Officer (SPO), a police spokesman told reporters.
Both received minor injuries, he said.
However, the explosion caused panic among the people who ran for cover, officals said. |
