Two-day district Udhampur athletics meet concluded today with the holding of competitions in girls section at Sports Authority of India (SAI) Training Centre grounds, here.
Earlier, the organizers, J&K Amateur Athletic Association conducted the track and field events in boys section yesterday.
In closing function, district secretary of the association, Sunil Sharma distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up of different events in different age groups. In all, 150 young athletes turned up for the two-day competitions.

100 mts U-14: Anchal Gupta, Ist and Arpna, 2nd. 100 mts U-15 & above: Pooja, Ist, Ranjana, 2nd. 800 mts U-14: Anita, Ist and Ruby, 2nd. High Jump: Anita Rani, Ist and Vandana, 2nd. 15 and above: Pooja Rani, Ist and D Sharma, 2nd. Shot Put: Girls: U-14 yr: Arpana, Ist and Poonam, 2nd. 15-18 yr: Damini, Ist and Mehnaz, 2nd.
