| 'Stable govt in Pak good for India' | | | Kollam (Kerala) | Nov 4
Terming as "unfortunate" the developments in Pakistan where Emergency has been declared, Defence Minister A K Antony on Sunday said a stable government in Islamabad was good for that country as well as for India.
It is India's wish that a stable government existed in Pakistan, Antony told reporters, who sought his comments on imposition of Emergency in that country.
He said the developments were "sad and unfortunate", and India was closely monitoring the situation.
India has taken all precautionary measures to ensure its security and safety, he said after visiting the residence of veteran RSP leader Baby John at nearby Chavara. |
