As the elections for State Legislative Assembly are approaching nearer, National Conference are engaged in forming strategies to gain more and more public support and emerge as victorious and in this connection the Party is going to allocate mandates only to deserving candidates who have exerted for strengthening the party at grass root level.
Sources within the Party said that the Party leadership unlike past is going to give out mandates only to those candidates who have remained faithful towards the party and worked at the grass root level in their respective areas.
Quoting top NC leader, he said, "Party is not going to repeat the mistakes it has made in the past and therefore the performance at grass root level would be the only prerequisite for conferring mandates in ensuing Assembly elections."
He further said that hundreds of aspirants are approaching the party leadership for mandates but the decisions are to be taken only after considering the contribution of candidates in their respective areas.
As Peoples Democratic Party and Congress are engaged in feud, National Conference is losing no time in grabbing the opportunity to outline tactics for the ensuing Assembly elections.
"The party leadership unlike past has even identified the candidates for most of the constituencies well in advance to avoid any sort of inaccuracy," he said
In addition Party is making every effort to involve the leaders representing various sections of society across the state to strengthen its party for the coming elections, he said.
He further said that the Party leadership is in continuous touch with the leaders representing various sections to rope in support for ensuing Assembly elections. |
