BJP hold protest against non-availability of fertilizer

Criticizing non-availability of fertilizer, the BJP activists staged protest and burnt the effigy of the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, in the main bazaar of town here today.
Addressing the protest rally, president of BJP Samba unit, Sham Lal Choudhary said that coalition government has failed on fronts. He said rabi season has started, but till date no fertilizer has been supplied to the farmers due to which they were facing number of problems.
Choudhary said rates fixed for paddy crop are very low. He urged upon the government that suitable rates should be fixed, so that the farmers feel satisfied. A memorandum was submitted to the SDM highlighting the problems being faced by the farmers of the area.
Among other who spoke on the occasion were Tilak Raj, Om Parkash, Adrani, Daya Ram, Purshotam Sharma, Rajesh Choudhary, Balvinder Singh Bally and Lucky Verma.
