| 70 join JKNPP | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 5 JKNPP MLA and Former Education Minister Harsh Dev Singh, State Working President Balwant Singh Mankotia MLA, Vice-President, P.K. Ganju, General Secretary and In charge Women Empowerment Anita Thakur and State Secretary Ghulam Ali Engineer welcomed over 70 Gujjars, into the party fold today at party central office. Welcoming the new entrants, Harsh Dev assured to highlight the basic issues of the neglected community in the Assembly and seek justice for political reservation. He said that it is the MLAs of Panthers Party who raised the reservation issues relating to political reservation for Gujjar-Bakerwal community, in the State Assembly first time during 50 years of rule of National Conference, Congress, PDP and others. Mankotia, said that the traditional ruling parties in the state and centre always paid lip service to the basic problems of Gujjar-Bakerwal and other ST, SC, communities. He recalled that it was Panhters Party which brought in private bills in the Assembly for granting political reservation to the neglected communities at the time of seeking votes. He assured full support to the community and thanked them for joining Panthers Party under the leadership of Prof. Bhim Singh, Party Supremo. |
