| India needs to keep close watch on Pak developments: BJP | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 5 Commenting on the developments in Pakistan, BJP State President Ashok Khajuria today said that the nation has to keep a close watch across the border and take effective steps to ensure the there is no adverse fallout of what is happening in Pakistan after imposition of emergency there. National security should be given top most priority and there should be no compromise on it any form said Ashok Khajuria. The BJP chief said the government should ensure that borders right from Gujrat to Jammu and Kashmir are well protected as there is every possibility of subversive elements across the border trying to create disturbance in the country. More precautions need to be taken along International Border and Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir where infiltration of armed militants has been taking place all these years. There is also possibility that Pakistani authorities may pressurize militants stationed in some camps across the border to leave those areas and such they may sneak inside our areas in Jammu and Kashmir to escalate the terrorist activities in our hinterland. He said the authorities also need to remain cautious about underground elements who are collaborating with secessionist elements and added that special emphasize should be laid on extra vigil in border districts of Jammu division and Kashmir valley.
