| BJYM protests employment policy | | Agitators tie black badges on passersby | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 5 Led by its State President Pawan Khajuria, activists of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) today held a massive protest demonstration against the employment policy of the Congress-led coalition government. The BJYM activists with black tags worn on their arms, raised slogans against the government for ignoring the educated youth in all service sector. They observed the day as Black Day in support of unemployed youth of Jammu facing discrimination by the State Government in placement/Govt. jobs. The BJYM activists also tied black batches on the passing by people at Prem Nath Dogra Chowk in order to make the general public aware of the anti-youth policy of the government and garner their support. Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Khajuria welcomed the opening of Secretariat in Jammu but criticized the ministers of present government led by Congress-PDP alliance and said that these ministers are involved in the activities to discrimination against unemployed youth of Jammu. He said that hardly 5 percent youth of Jammu are suitably placed in government jobs and the rest are struggling for their livelihood. Pawan Khajuria warned the government not to ignore youth of Jammu adding that BJYM activists will come on roads in favour of these neglected and discriminated against youth of Jammu. He also warned the government not to support/ welcome the anti-national elements like Yaseen Malik in Jammu. He said BJYM activists would not tolerate the entry of such elements in Jammu as they mislead the youth by their communal approach and disturb the communal harmony. BJYM Distt. President Pranav Gupta made an appeal to the unemployed youth of Jammu to get united and come forward to join BJYM to ensure that fear free, hunger free, corruption free and people-centric society is formed in India. Prominent among who were present in the protest included Mukesh Sharma, Sahil Gupta, Surinder Choudhary, Gurtej Singh, Sanjay Khajuria, Vikas Sharma, Jyoti Dogra, Ashwani, Ravi Mehra and others. |
