| Two injured in gang war; police unaware | | | Eartly Times Reporter

Even as two persons were reported to have received serious injuries in two separate gang wars, the police was unaware about the incidents.
According to reports, some unknown persons attacked one Ronak Lal son of Bhagat Lal resident of Mishriwala with sharp edged weapon in the full public view and fled from the spot. The local people who noticed the incident took the injured person to Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH) for treatment where after treatment doctors declare his condition not fit for statement as last report came in. When Kanachak police station was contacted, the police said that the only information they had from police post of the hospital was that a person from the area was admitted in the hospital in serious condition. The police said that it does not have details of the incident.
In another incident, one person got serious injuries in an attack at Shakti Nagar area. The police here also had no details of the incident.
Sources said the incident was a kind of a gang war wherein two members of a criminal group of the city clashed with each other in which one person got injuries and the other took him to private nursing for the treatment. |
