National Conference leader said that coalition government is feeding the people on hollow and emotional slogans, which people can understand well. He said that people of Jammu and Kashmir have not seen such an inefficient, corrupt government in its history. Addressing the convention Provincial President expressed serious concern over the way the government has neglected Poonch and its border areas. He said the rising graph of unemployment is creating frustration and un-rest among the youth of this border district and demanded special recruitment drive for the youth of this border and remote district. "It is not only NC but every one across the country now questions the tall claims of the government made by them during the last assembly elections". Describing five year coalition rule as an era of mis-governance and corrupion, Sadhotra said that while parties in power are after their vested interests, and public importance / welfare issues are altogether being ignored. This he said is evident from the awful condition of roads, educational and health institutions in far-flung areas. He said people have a bitter experience of the coalition rule and are fed up with its functioning. Provincial President said the people will weed out this coalition regime during the forthcoming assembly elections. He called upon the party men to unite themselves and strengthen the fort of National Conference in Poonch. He further asked the delegates to frustrate the designs of the forces who are trying all out efforts to weaken the National Conference. |
