| Airtel presents ‘Super Lifetime Prepaid’ | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 5 To make mobile phone services more affordable, Bharti Airtel today introduced ‘Super Lifetime Prepaid’ with Rs 1 outgoing local tariff for life. This offer from Airtel is all set to further open up new segments of the market from the very young to the old, from small towns to rural clusters and provide greater value to its consumers. Existing customers too can avail of this offer free-of-charge or by paying a minimal amount, depending on the plan that they are using. President, Mobile Services, Bharti Airtel Limited Sanjay Kapoor said, “The new Super Lifetime Prepaid further marks our strategic intent of making mobile telephony more affordable among the masses.” “In a market which is cluttered with multiple tariff options, we are offering the simplest plan ever in this industry. We are positive that this will yet again open up new segments and expand the market,” he added. The Super Lifetime Prepaid offers an Airtel user local outgoing tariff of Rs 1 for life. Under this plan the customer can stay mobile by paying just Rs. 999. They have to use a minimum of Rs 200 every 180 days to continue enjoying lifetime validity benefits. With effect from November 3, 2007, Super Lifetime Prepaid is available to all existing as well as new Airtel mobile users. All existing Rs. 999 Lifetime and Easy Lifetime customers get this offer free-of-charge. The Rs 495 Lifetime prepaid customers can avail this offer by recharging with Rs 504. |
