| KC Public School holds grandparents’ day | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 6 Grandparents’ day was celebrated with great vigor and enthusiasm at K C Public School, here today. Janak Raj Gupta Advisor to the Chief Minister was the Chief Guest on the occasion while chairman of KC Educational Society Sudershan Mahajan was the guest of honour. The function began with the lighting of the lamp followed by a welcome speech by the principal Jorawar Singh Thereafter the proceedings opened with ‘Vandana’ performed with excellence by class 2 children. A cultural programme was put up by the students of junior section of the school. The show ended with ‘Bhangra’ performed magically by class 4 and 5 boys. Speaking on this occasion Janak Raj Gupta appreciated the efforts of K C Public School for having fantastic results in academics and co-curricular activities at the National level competitions. He also praised the School for being the first school in J&K to receive a National Award in providing the best Computer Education in J&K State. He further complimented the students and the staff for putting up a magnificent show. The Headmistress Mamta Singh thanked the Chief Guest for his kind words. |
