| INTUC elects district bodies | | | Early Times Reporter

State president Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) Shiv Kumar Sharma has constituted new district bodies and the heads of the frontal organizations for the smooth functioning of the trade union for the welfare of employees.
The newly appointed INTUC members included Munshi Ram Salalia, S R S Reen, S Ranjit Singh Raina, Farooq Ahmed Wanganoo, Ajay Sharma and Surinder Kumar as vice presidents INTUC; Raghubir Singh Chib has been nominated as general secretary INTUC (J&K); Raman Kumar as treasurer; Joginder Pal, Pt. Bhushan Lal and Ch. Farooq Ahmed Khayal have been appointed as secretaries whereas Subhash Chander, Ganesh Dutt, Manan Bhatt, Ghulam nabi and Chain Singh have been nominated as organizing secretaries.
Shiv Kumar newly re-elected state president INTUC (J&K) also announced the new district president for INTUC bodies in the respective district. Those elected as district presidents included namely Ghulam Rasool Najar (Pulwama); Mohd Yaqoob Rishi (Srinagar); Amrik Singh Sasan (Jammu); Som Nath (Udhampur); Abdul Hamid Malik (Reasi); Faiz Akbar Chouhan (Poonch); Tahir Ahmed Shawl (Rajouri); Madan Lal (Samba); Arjun Singh (Kathua); Mohd Akram Malik (Ramban) and Tariq Hussain Zargar (Doda). Meanwhile the new heads of frontal organization functioning under the aegis of INTUC (J&K) included Pranav Shagotra president Young Workers Council INTUC (J&K); Raj Kumar Mehra President Sewa Dal INTUC (J&K); Girdhari Lal Lakhotra President SC Cell INTUC (J&K) and Pawan Kumar President OBC Cell INTUC (J&K). |
