| Singh Ji memorial cup begins today | | | Early Times Reporter

BJYM east mandal president Sanjeev Gupta, Amar Singh Ji memorial cup was inaugurated here today at Mini stadium (DBN) ground. Corporator Rajesh Gupta was also present on the occasion.
Sixteen different teams are competing in the tournament where winner of the trophy will be awarded Rs 5000 runners up Rs 2000. Speaking on the inaugural ceremony Chief guest Sanjeev Gupta said that sports should be promoted in the region along with other curricular activities among the youth. He also said that there is dire need of more play grounds in the regions and playgrounds which are there should be used for the sports activities not for rallys and other functions which often happens in Jammu. |
