| Mattoo gets rousing reception | | | Early Times Reporter

Scholars, Students and different student organizations today organized grant reception programme in the honor of Vice chancellor Jammu University Prof. Amitabh Mattoo who has been recently reelected to the prestigious 28 members Pugwash Executive Council and was also nominated by the Govt of India to the board of directors of Indo-Afghan foundation.
Speaking on the occasion Rashid Choudhary Research Scholar and student leader described the achievement of Prof. Mattoo as an honor and matter of pride for Jammu University and congratulated him for getting international recognition and fame.
Prof. Mattoo while speaking on the occasion tanked the students for this surprise reception procession and attributed his success to the co-operation of student community and teachers of Jammu University. He also said that he will try his best to use his position to give benefit to the Jammu University and its students.
The function was organized under the leadership of Shahnawaz Choudhary, President, All J&K Gujjar and Bakerwal Students Federation (AJKGBSF). Others who spoke on the occasion are Tanveer Hussain, Rajesh Kumar, Farid Chaudhary, Arjun Singh Jamwal, Mohd. Farooq and Sumit Singh. |
