Not with standing the Chief Minister’s off repeated assertions to uphold the Human Rights in the state, the Special Task Force in brazen violation of this standing commitment today reportedly beaten a youth mercilessly , who was grazing animals in the upper reaches of Dessa area of Doda district.
Identified as Ghulam.Nabi Laway of Bharth area who was for grazing animals at upper reaches of Dessa was intercepted by the STF personnel, who with out making any inquiry about his whereabouts started beating him and fled away after leaving the victim in pool of blood..
The youth after getting conscious narrated this event to the media men here today and demanded justice and strict action against the delinquent STF personnel. He warned to approach Court if justice was not provided to him and the accused taken to task adding that this is the not the first case of its kind as innocents from the rural and backward packets have always been facing the wrath of the Security Forces under the garb of eliminating militancy. |
