| RR organizes free medi camp at remote Dugli village | | | early Times Reporter Doda | Nov 6 As part of Civic Action Program under the aegis of ‘Operation Sadhbhavana’ 4 Rashtriya Rifles (4RR) (BIHAR) Battalion at Sarna, Bhadarwah organized free medical camp under the supervision of Commanding Officer Col Paramjeet Singh at remote Village Dugli , Bhalla area of Bhadarwah tehsil where more than 1000 needy and poor patients of nearby villages were examined by Army and civil doctors of SDH Bhadarwah and free medicines were distributed to the needy and poor patients. In the camp medical, surgical, gynecologist, dental doctors provided much needed specialized medi- care to the ailing, specially the ladies and elderly people. Medicines worth Rs 50, 000 were distributed free of cost to needy and poor patients. Speaking on the occasion the Commanding Officer was of the sanguine opinion that launching such people oriented camps will further help in weaning away local population from the impact of terrorism and will also further bring normalcy in the region. The locals were of high praise of Army for being ready to help the poor and needy people in this militancy infested area and said that such actions will create brotherhood among masses in the society and help increase relations between Army and the public that was very important to control militant activities. Among others present at the camp included SDM Bhadarwah P.K.Pole, 2I C 4RR S. Bhaduria ,Dr Capt Rakesh Kumar , Major Jeri Manohar and other senior army and civil officials besides a large number of people. |
