| Provide revised electoral roles: Dewani | | | Early Times Reporter

Jammu and Kashmir National Democratic Front (JKNDF) has strongly condemned the apathetic attitude of state government towards oppressed Kashmiri migrants in their respectable rehabilitation. This was sated in a meeting of party workers held today by its working president A.K. Dewani.
He said, despite of the direction from the Election commissioner of India to revise the present electoral role of KP’s and the same is not followed in letter and spirit. Adding full opportunity is not provided to the migrants voters to make necessary corrections and inclusions in the electoral rolls. Insufficient copies of electoral rolls are displayed in the camps which have created confusion in suggesting the required change he alleged. He has appealed the election authorities and relief commissioner migrants to make Public sufficient copies of present electoral roll at respective zones to ensure that all migrants voters are included and demanded from the concerned authorities to facilitate correct revision of electoral rolls and have taken strong exception of evicting migrants from government quarters despite of the Supreme court order and the front has appealed the general public to come forward for fighting against these illegal and inhuman acts of the state government. |
