| 40 J&K Cong leaders to attend AICC Delhi session | | | Early Times Reporter

A team of 40 senior Congress leaders, including some special invitees, are expected to attend the AICC session scheduled to be held in Delhi on November 11.
Chief Minister,Ghulam Nabi Azad,will head the team from the state.Party sources said that besides militancy in Jammu and Kashmir top brass of the Congress will discuss the nuclear deal and the strategy the party should adopt during the Assembly elections in several states.
Sources said that the party high command would elicit response from the AICC members towards the Congress stand on the nuclear deal with America which could not be finalized owing to stiff opposition from the leftists. The mind of the AICC members would be probed on the possibility of proponing of the general elections which was likely to the thrust on the centre because of the continued conflict between the Congress and its leftist allies. |
