Reliable source in intelligence agencies said that following the imposition of emergency in Pakistan, militant groups are in search of opportune time to flee from the country. They said that in the backdrop of crackdown on militants in Pakistan, militants are looking to sneak into this side of border. Sources further said that fearing government action due to change in situation in Pakistan, a large number of militants is looking for an opportunity to enter this side of border. They said that about four hundred to five hundred armed militants have thronged the border areas to look for a chance to enter into J&K state. "Militants in groups are waiting for an opportune time to cross over to this side from Uri, Kupwara, Mandi, Kreeri, Balakot, Roshni Post Tata Pani Sectors," sources said. They said that Troops guarding the Borders and LoC's have been asked to be vigilant to foil any infiltration attempt of militants. |
