Niaz addresses rallies, assures redressing grievances

Former Power Minister and Congress MLC Mohammed Sharief Niaz today addressed a massive rallies of Congress activists at Gandoh and ChIli areas of Bhaderwah assembly constituency. Hundreds of Congress workers and sympathizers participated in these rallies.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohammed Sharief Niaz assured the people that he will take up their problems with the concerned authorities.
Expressing sympathy with the daily wages workers of the variousgovernment departments, he expressed surprise .that these poor employees are without salaries even during festival seasons. He demanded immediate release of salaries for the daily wages employees of Forest, PDD, PHE, ReT, : Health, VDCs and SPO’s..
He also stressed on the need of streamlining pension schemes of social welfare department in which pensions being given to aged as well as handicapped persons. He asked the concerned authorities to release thesepensions immediately.
Responding to the demands of the people, he assured that he will take up the matter with Health Minister to appoint gynecologist, physician and other specialists doctors at Gandoh hospital.
He supported demand of the people that local youth should be accommodated in various developmental projects being started in these areas. He said that maximum employment should be given to locals in these projects.
He also demanded construction of Chili-Manokuta, Changa-Chanti, Changa-
Chancer-Dadkai, Barthi-Dosa, Bargi-Rajpura Kansar road and/Khara-Jai I road immediately.
He assured the people that he wIll take up all these demands to the notice of the Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad.
