| CA&PD books 12 traders, realizes fine | | | Early Times Reporter

Special squad of CA&PD and Jammu Municipal Corporation headed by Assistant Director Mr. Mumtaz Ali Chowdhary inspected more than 50 shops including sweets shop, restaurants, fast food, hotels and dhabas etc. in Raghunath Bazar, Chand Nagar, Residency Road and Gurudwara Sunder Singh Road areas. During the inspection 12 defaulters were booked for violation of provision of Essential Commodities Act and Prevention of Food Adulteration Act 1954 and Rs. 6300 was realized from the defaulters on the spot.
The traders have been instructed to display the approved rate list conspicuously at their establishments and keep their premises neat and clean. |
